The Specifics

The Skinny Pancake works to improve the view of the local food S.C.E.N.E. (Security, Community, Environment, Nutrition, Economy) with every crepe we make. That’s why we source the majority of our raw & value-added produce from the local food economy. It’s also why we are offering a $500 grant to the community gardening project that wants it most….the project with the most votes at the end of the voting period will be awarded the grant!

What makes an ideal project? It needs to be in Chittenden or Washington County, VT, it must be associated with a non-profit or municipality & it must be a community gardening effort! Group plots, community fruit trees, educational work with kids & much, much more. We’re looking forward to reviewing all of your great ideas!

Rules & Regulations

The Skinny Pancake Community Gardening Grant is open for submissions from January 2nd to January 9th.
Public voting will be open from January 9th to February 9th.
The project with the most votes will receive $500.
Individuals who submit an application and/or vote in this contest agree to opt into Skinny Pancake’s mailing list.
